Can you guys believe that Valentine’s Day is only 3 days away? How did that happen? Under normal circumstances, my husband and I would try to sneak away for a date night, but with all the craziness going on, I thought it would be fun to do something new this year. I decided to create a romantic date night at home with some good food, wine, and just the two of us sharing a night together alone. To make this night even more special, I thought it would be fun to show you how I created my Valentine’s Day table decor with just some pink florals and candlesticks. So simple and so beautiful! I can’t wait to show you how my dining room table turned out!
Valentine’s Day Table Decor
Let’s begin with the list of items that I used to create this Valentine’s Day table setting. I had some dried eucalyptus on hand and paired it with a variety of pink florals. Next, I grabbed some gold tapered candlesticks, white plates and napkins, chargers, gold silverware, and wine glasses.
Since I don’t usually do a lot of decorating for Valentine’s Day, I knew my table needed a few pink touches. I found the most beautiful variety of pink florals at Chic Artique and knew that would look so pretty paired with my dried eucalyptus. The next step was to put it all together to make a pretty table runner.
I created a table runner using all of my faux florals, and I love how it came together. The finishing touch was to add some candles for that romanic feel.
Valentine’s Day Table Setting
The first layer of my table setting was this pretty wicker charger. Next, I added some greenery and a large and small white plate. For this date night, I got out my favorite gold silverware and cloth napkins. So fancy, right?!!
The final touch was lighting the candles. It’s amazing how lit candles just add the perfect romantic touch to any table.
Other Ideas Using A Pink Table Setting
Not only did I love creating this table setting using Valentine’s Day decor, but my favorite part was all the pink that I was able to use. This pink table setting could also be used for Mother’s Day, baby showers, and wedding teas.
So, my first Valentine’s Day table is finished. What do you think? Have you ever created a romantic date night at home? This was so much fun, and I think it’s safe to say that this could be our new Valentine’s Day tradition.
