I finally have light!! My living room has never had a light box to hang a fixture, so because of that, this has always been such a dark room. We relied on lamps which are great, but we really needed something more. Fast forward to our house flooding last November, and our celling had to be stripped down to the studs. Guess what they found?? A light box! I guess the previous owners had covered it up for some reason, but it was literally like finding a treasure. The next question was which light I wanted to add in here. I searched and searched and found one that made my heart skip a beat lol!! It was the Nottaway Chandelier, and I can’t wait to show you how it looks in my living room!
This gorgeous chandelier is from Paynes Gray and when I say it’s even prettier in person, I mean it. It is a showstopper and single handed changed the whole look of my living room. I knew I wanted a light fixture that was also large enough not to look lost in my living room. The Nottaway Chandelier has a 61″ diameter with long slim arms that stretch out so beautifully. It is elegant yet simple and that’s exactly why I love it so much.
Although it’s pretty large, I love how simple it is, so it doesn’t feel heavy or bulky in this space. This is the perfect minimalist fixture that would look great with any style.
Nottaway Chandelier Color Details
There are two color option with the Nottaway Chandelier, bronze and gold. I chose the bronze color. I personally loved this one better than the gold because it still has the appearance of gold or brass but it’s not as shiny. The bronze coloring in it tones it down and gives it the most beautiful color and texture.
So, what do you think? This is my dream chandelier, and although the price point is a bit higher than I normally would spend, I think it is well worth it to get something this gorgeous.
