My Trip To The HGTV Dream Home

Guys, something really exciting happened last week!! Anyone familiar with the HGTV Dream Home?? Yeah, I still can’t believe it happened, but I had the amazing opportunity to go to Hilton Head Island, SC to have brunch and tour the 2020 Dream Home. I have been registering to win the Dream Home since I was old enough to enter, so this experience was surreal to me. I shared the full tour in my saved highlights on my Instagram, but I thought it would be fun to give you guys a mini tour of this gorgeous home on the blog.

Meet The Designer

Let’s begin with the amazing designer of the Dream Homes, **Brian Patrick Flynn**. Brian is an American television producer turned interior designer. He designed every room of this home using a combination of color, neutrals, textures, pattern, and balance. I love how he used bright colors in certain rooms or even on the ceiling, but he balanced it out with neutrals and textures. Every room was different, but the entire home flowed together seamlessly. The challenge to appeal to all ages of every style is something I would never want to take on, but he absolutely nailed it! I can’t wait to share this home with you, so let’s get started.
