Hi friends! I hope you are having a lovely Saturday so far. I am in the midst of decorating (I’m still not finished), shopping, wrapping, and all the goodness that comes with December. One space that I finally got to decorating this week was my master bedroom. I just love how simple and peaceful it feels in here. You don’t have to go crazy with Christmas decor to make a space still feel cozy. Although I don’t have room for a Christmas tree in my bedroom, I was still able to add some garland, a new winter abstract painting, and some natural elements here and there to give it a fun and festive look. Today, I am so excited to share with you how my simple and moody Christmas master bedroom turned out!
Since I made over my master bedroom a couple of months back, I could just live in this room. I love the moody vibes with the headboard and new barn door. One simple Christmas touch that I did in this space was to add some natural garland to my headboard. Just a simple touch of greenery added a beautiful Christmas feel in here, and I LOVE it!
I kept the natural theme going and created a bowl of greenery and pine cones in the prettiest gold bowl that I found at Target. I added it to my ottoman and love how the brown pulls out the brown tones in my new abstract painting. This beautiful painting from Studio McGee’s Threshold Line is their latest winters cape, and I just think it matches my room perfectly!
I still can’t get over how my new barn door looks in this space. All the moody colors with the pops of greenery just make me so happy!
Let me just talk about this new rug one more time, because it’s so amazing the the price is unbeatable. It added so much to my bedroom and the neutral gray pattern pulled everything together. You can find all the rug details HERE.
