Happy Sunday friends! I don’t usually blog on Sundays, but I was so excited to show you my weekend project that I couldn’t wait any longer. If you remember, a few weeks ago I shared my master bedroom makeover. I decided to do touch of moody and paint my headboard a dark color. Well, let’s just say that I totally fell in love with the pop of dark that I wanted to bring more of it into my room. The last step to my bedroom makeover was to replace some double doors that I have always disliked. Today, I am so excited to share with you my new moody barn door from Rustica. Before I show you the final reveal, let me remind you what the doors looked like before the makeover.
Before…
Here are the double doors that lead into our master bathroom. They were fine, but not something that I loved. I can’t wait for you to see what this space looks like now.
Sliding Barn Door Reveal
Ahhhh, YES!! So much better, right?? This door is absolutely stunning and looks so beautiful paired with my headboard. I had always dreamed of replacing the doors and the end result exceeded my expectations!
Barn Door Details
So, let me share with you all the details on this gorgeous door. This door is called the Mode Door. I chose it because of it’s modern and sleek design. I fell in love with the geometric pattern of this door. I paired it with the Ultra Modern Barn Door Hardware in a gold finish which I love!! The modern style door mixed with the gold finishes makes this door a beautiful focal point in my room!
I decided to paint the door Cracked Pepper by Behr to match my headboard, and I am so happy with that decision. Before, it was white and didn’t really stand out against all of my white walls and furniture. Now, the bold color highlights the beauty of this door, and I couldn’t love it anymore!!
This door was the last piece of the puzzle in my master bedroom makeover. I hope you enjoyed following along in this process. It has been so much fun pulling this room together, and I love how it turned out!

Hi Renee! Thank you so much! It is from a store called ChicArtique here in Nashville. They have so many pretty beds and ship too.
