Hi my friends! I don’t know about you, but I am so excited it’s finally April! April, to me, means bringing fresh decor and brighter colors into my home. I just love pops of color in the spring to give my home a fresh and cheerful feeling. Typically I love decorating for spring, but honestly, I was really lacking inspiration this year – especially in my kitchen. I wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to go in until I received this gorgeous lemon canvas from Kirkland’s new Terrain Collection. This print HAD to go in my kitchen! It was so gorgeous and full of inspiration. I just love the lush greens and bright yellows! It instantly brought a breath of fresh air and pops of spring color that my kitchen needed. It also inspired me to use more lemon decor in my kitchen.
Kitchen Lemon Decor
I added the print to my shelf above my sink, and honestly fell in love with this beautiful piece. It’s just so cheerful and fit perfectly there! It also inspired me to add some green stems, white hydrangeas, and of course, LEMONS!! There is something about lemons that add a clean and fresh feeling. My kitchen instantly felt like spring!
I layered the print with a white basket. I just love how my white kitchen and neutral backdrop made this beautiful print really pop! The best part about this canvas lemon print is the quality. It comes in a sturdy dark walnut wood frame that could have gone in any room of my home. The canvas paint is raised and honestly looks like it is a unique and one of a kind piece. I am so impressed with this print!
This new collection from Kirkland’s is perfect for spring. I have had the privilege of seeing Terrain Lane in person and have already snagged some more pieces that I’m going to add to my kitchen’s eating area. More from this collection and my full kitchen spring tour will be up on the blog soon, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, I would highly recommend getting over to Kirkland’s to check Terrain Lane out for yourself. I know you will love it as much as I do!
Well, I hope you enjoyed my new lemon print and my lemons decor in the kitchen for this spring mini tour. I’m so excited how cheerful and bright my kitchen feels now! As always, I would love to hear what you think of all of the changes and feel free to ask any questions you might have. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog! I appreciate it so much!

You’ve got me running for my measuring tape! What an impact that intensifies and simplifies the decoration.Asking,” is there space above the window to make this effect possible (in case all other methods aren’t enough)?”. Thanks for the reminder to not get too busy and edit. You did it justice.
The back splash for me is a problem you conquered too. It is not too much. What if a future owner does not like your choice, worries me. I’m picky too. My solution is to frame my backsplash mosaic and resort to wall paper companion selections to coordinate the kitchen (rooms). A collection of Bennington marbles anchors the artistic faience tiles one of a kind personalization, not to be left behind.
Also, I’m for the use of tiles on the kitchen floor even when wood runs throughout.
Tina says
I really love your kitchen back splash. Could you tell me the name and manufacturer of the tiles? Thanks in advance.
carissa says
Hi Tina! I am so happy you love my backsplash! Thank you!! Unfortunately, the tile was already in my home when we moved in so I am not sure where it came from. So sorry I couldn’t help you out.
