The holiday season is a perfect time to infuse festive touches throughout your home, and one often overlooked but promising canvas is your mirror. Elevate the spirit of your space by adorning your mirror with Christmas garland using the ever-versatile Command Hooks. In this post, I’ll walk you through simple steps to create a stunning, holiday-inspired mirror display. The best part is that this isn’t only limited to Christmas time, you can add garland to your mirror all year long!
1- Clean and Prep The Mirror
Before you start, clean your mirror to ensure a smooth surface for the Command Hooks to adhere to. Wipe away any dust or smudges using a glass cleaner.
2- Select and Position Command Hooks
Choose the appropriate Command Hooks for your garland. Open the package and follow the instructions for attaching them to the mirror. Position the hooks evenly, ensuring they align with your planned garland placement. I added some on each side of my mirror in order to keep the garland perfectly draped along the sides.
3- Attach Garland To Command Hooks
Gently drape the garland over the hooks, securing it in place. If your garland has wire or branches, you can easily mold it to follow the contours of the mirror. Ensure the garland is evenly distributed and hangs symmetrically.
4- Enhance Your Christmas Garland
For an extra festive touch, weave ribbon through the garland, add battery-operated string lights, or add Christmas bells like I did. This step not only adds visual interest but also illuminates your mirror display.
