Guys, I’m so excited that I can finally share with you all the changes that I have been working on in my dining room. I know, it’s about time. If you follow me on Instagram , then you have seen in my stories my hunt for the perfect table and chairs. Man, the struggle has been REAL. I’m one of those gals that usually doesn’t know what I’m looking for until I see it. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a new table and chairs or an antique set. However, I knew that I wanted a new light fixture, and I had the perfect one in mind. I have done a little here and there, but it finally all came together this past week when I finished my farmhouse dining room makeover. I just love how it all turned out, and I hope you do too!
Farmhouse Dining Room Table
Let’s start with the table. I was in a mad search for a white table. That doesn’t seem like it would be a challenge, but boy was I wrong. My old table was a darker wood, so I was ready to brighten up the look of this room. I looked online for a white table, but nothing really stood out. I quickly decided that an antique or refinished table might be more of what I was looking for. Luckily, I found exactly what I was looking for in the cutest little antique shop. It was perfect color, size, and style for my small space! I love all of the details especially the pattern on the edge. I feel so lucky to have found this cute little table!
The next piece to this puzzle was finding the right chairs. Like I said earlier, I had zero clue what I was looking for. I spent way too much time scrolling through websites searching for the perfect chairs. Then, that aha moment happened, and it was glorious. These beautiful gray wood and ticking striped chairs popped up, and I totally fell in love with them. Like, I totally had to have them. They are so pretty guys. The quality and look of this chair is top notch, and the price tag wasn’t bad at all. I’m so very happy with them! They really are so gorgeous!
Farmhouse Dining Room Lighting
To finish off the look, I hung up my Christmas present from my sweet husband. I’ve been obsessed with this chandelier for so long, and I’m so excited to finally have a place to hang it. I love the wood on it, and I especially love the fact that it matched my chairs really well. This is another piece that I highly recommend. It is so much more beautiful in person. It just finished off this room in all the right ways!
I also added this fun rug that really brought all of my colors together. It made the room pop in such a fun way.
Thank you so much for hanging with me through this refresh. I hope you like all of the changes! I’m in love with this room! I use it as my dining room/office, and it’s now a fun and happier place to spend my time. I linked most of my products at the bottom. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about the products. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog!! Have a blessed day my friends!!

Did you paint your table? If so, what did you use?

Hi Crysta! I actually bought it already painted, but the lady I bought it from told me she used Annie Sloan Old White on the table. She also distressed it and put on a clear wax. Hope this helps! Thank you so much for asking!
