Shag rugs are back, baby!! I partnered with Boutique Rugs to share with you a brand new line of shag rugs that I know you are going to love as much as I do. A shag rug is a type of carpet that features a deep pile, long fibers, and a soft texture. Shag rugs were popular in the 1960s and 1970s and have since made a comeback as a trendy and comfortable addition to home decor. I have personally never had a shag rug until this new line called the Bargate Area Rugs wowed me with their beautiful line of shag rugs. I am so excited to share with you a couple of rugs from the collection along with some other shag rug favorites.
1. Kieu Yellow and White Checkered Rug

This new addition to my son’s room is called the Bauer Area Rug. I fell in love with the black and white colors and simple design. This rug comes in 5 different color options and would be perfect for a kid’s room, play room, nursery, or office.
Shag rugs can add warmth to any room in your house. They’re perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere in bedrooms, living rooms, and even bathrooms. My son loves to grab a book or his toys and get down on this rug because of how soft it is. He absolutely loves it!
