Christmas Living Room Reveal
I’ve been busy decorating like crazy around here getting it all ready to share with you guys, and it’s been so much fun! I started with sharing my entryway a couple of weeks ago, and now it’s time to reveal my living room! My Christmas inspiration this year was all things NATURE. I decided to go with neutral colors and a mix of greens, pinecones, and branches. I just love the idea of using elements of nature to decorate with, especially for Christmas.
Living Room Christmas Mantel
Love how it all turned out, but my Christmas mantel might just be my favorite. This sign from Oh Sweet Skye became the focal point. Next, I added a garland that I made out of a few of my favorite stems. I always prefer making my own garland because it allows me to be creative and make it unique to fit my style. Also, did you notice the stocking tags? My family’s first initials are A-E, so I love displaying it on our stockings. It’s just a fun touch that give this space some personalization.
As I said earlier, pinecones played a big part in my decor this year. I found these oversized pinecones at Hobby Lobby, and I am obsessed with them! I love how the look in my dough bowl, and the best part is that you can also use them as ornaments in your tree just like I did. So simple and so pretty!!
Neutral Christmas Tree
To add some texture, I added a buffalo check burlap bow to my tree. I mixed a few patterns together which I don’t normally do, but I think they all worked well together.
Last but not least, I added this DIY oversized wreath to my chippy doors. The last few years, I added garland and lights to the top, but decided to keep it simple this year. I just love it how it looks up there!!
I just love how cozy my living room is now that it’s all decorated for Christmas. The twinkle of the lights just makes me want to start a fire and watch Christmas movies all day long! I hope you guys loved my cozy Christmas living room reveal as much as I do!
