Have you ever had that piece of decor that you want so bad, but you just can’t bring yourself to buy it because of the price? I’m sure we have all been there. For me, I’ve been in love with this Anthropologie mirror forever, but the $500 plus price tag was just something I could never bring myself to do. Well, I was walking through HomeGoods the other day and spotted the most gorgeous dupe. After I got weak in the knees, I scooped it right up. I can’t wait to share with you how I used it to style my fall mantel this year and share all the details on how my fall mantel came together. Oh, and look for other Anthropologie mirror dupes at the end that are oh so gorgeous too!
Fall Mantel Reveal
For my fall mantel this year, I have been looking for a main focal point to put in the center of my mantel, so after I spotted this Anthro mirror dupe, I knew that was exactly what my fall mantel needed. Isn’t she a beauty? My favorite part is the gorgeous ornate top that gives it a vintage inspired look.
DIY Fall Garland
I added some of my vintage brass candlesticks to either side of the mirror and love the elegance it added to this space. To offset all the gold details, I added a DIY garland that I made and some ceramic pumpkins. I just how it all came together!
For my greens, I used my favorite stems from ChicArtique, dried eucalyptus from Hobby Lobby, cream Heather bush, and long eucalyptus bush to create a DIY garland. I then added some chunky wood beads to add some wood elements to the top.
One question that I get all the time is about my wood fireplace cover. It was a DIY that I made to cover my fireplace opening. You can check out the tutorial HERE.
So, there is my fall mantel! I hope you loved the mix of glam and rustic as much as I do. Oh, and that mirror!! I just love how it added so much to my decor. Below, I linked some dupes that are gorgeous and a fraction of the price. I hope you will check them out and add a little touch of gold to your holiday decor as well!
