Christmas is less than 2 weeks away, and I’m so excited to share with you how I have added some simple Christmas decor to my home! I love to infuse the festive spirit into every corner of my home, including the master bedroom. While the living room and dining area often take center stage during Christmas, don’t neglect the intimate and personal space of your bedroom. With a few simple touches, you can transform your master bedroom into a cozy, festive retreat. Today on the blog, I’m sharing my Christmas master bedroom reveal along with some easy and elegant Christmas decor ideas that will add warmth and charm to your sleeping haven.
1. Garland With Twinkle Lights
Bring the outdoors in by hanging a small wreath or garland on the bedroom door or above the bed. I found this faux garland at Hobby Lobby and absolutely love the simple yet cozy Christmas touch it added to my room. You can also add natural elements like pinecones, berries, and eucalyptus for a simple yet elegant touch.
Next, I also added lights to the garland to create a dreamy atmosphere in my master bedroom! I just love how the white lights added a cozy and inviting ambiance in my room, especially at night.
2. Seasonal Art and Prints
Swap out your regular wall art for holiday-themed prints or paintings. Choose pieces that resonate with your personal style while adding a touch of Christmas magic. This could include winter landscapes, snowflakes, or even classic Christmas scenes. I added a simple mountain landscape picture to my dresser and a snowy abstract piece of art to the wall by my bed. I continued to add the greenery and lights to my dresser using smaller trees for added Christmas decor.
3. Festive Bedding
I finished off my Christmas bedroom transformation by updating my bedding. I layered a simple Christmas tree pillow with my Beddy’s Bedding. Love how it looks with the colors in my vintage inspired rug. I also added a cozy knitted blanket to the bottom of my bed for extra texture and warmth. You can also add cozy flannel sheets or a duvet cover in festive colors like red, green, or even winter whites.
